Local officials join EDC conference

Brazoria County Judge Matt Sebesta will serve on a panel moderated by Patti Worfe of the Economic Development for Brazoria County during the annual conference of the Texas Economic Development Council, set for Oct. 11-13 in Houston.

The event will be held at the J.W. Marriott in the Galleria area. Exhibits open at 11:30 a.m., and the panel discussion titled “Solution to Texas’ Water Crisis,” will be 2 to 3 p.m.
Presentations include “The Texas Triangle: An Emerging Power in the Global Economy” by Henry Cisneros of Triple I Partners, and “How to Make a Big Impact with a Small Marketing Budget,” among many others.
