Bennie Wheels’ Walkin’ the Line Comes to Pearland for Johnny Cash Tribute Performance

Date:

The Pearland Country Music Showcase is excited to welcome Bennie Wheels to Rob Ray’s Taproom on Sunday, November 19, for a Johnny Cash tribute performance like no other.

The Pearland Country Music Showcase is a collaboration between the Pearland Convention and Visitors Bureau (PCVB) and artist and organizer Shalane Colston. This is the event’s third edition, a variation of earlier opries that featured multiple area musicians.

“We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work with Bennie Wheels. He’s incredibly talented and puts on a great show,” said Tracy Rohrbacher, Executive Director of the PCVB. “Walkin’ the Line helps us demonstrate the types of events that the Pearland Country Music Showcase can present. We hope to see both residents and visitors alike at the taproom.”

Rob Ray’s Taproom regularly hosts live music on their stage, the cherry on top of the Texas-made brews and good vibes they serve daily. It’s a new venue for the Pearland Country Music Showcase, with beer, wine, and various non-alcoholic beverages for sale. There will also be a food truck on-site during the event.

“I have seen Bennie Wheels in concert a couple of times now; we’ve even traveled out of town to see him, and I’m happy that Walkin’ the Line is coming to the Pearland Country Music Showcase. It is a fun event that takes you back in time with music and memories,” said Colston, who recently celebrated the release of her latest album, Heart of a Country Girl. “There are so many great restaurants and places to stay in Pearland; you’ll be glad you added this fantastic show to your visit. Make sure to come out and support local business and live music.”

Tickets for the event are $20 per attendee and can be found at
