HLSR opens scholarship applications

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo announced applications for grants and scholarships are open now at HLSR.com.
Tips for applying include keeping a list of extracurricular club teams, volunteering, and completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, early, confirming the school name and email address with school counselors, and reviewing and finalizing the application by deadlines.
The online application deadline is 7:59 p.m. Jan. 31. The School’s official submission deadline closes at 4:59 p.m. Feb. 15. Recipients will be notified in May 2024, and a scholarship recipient celebration is planned for June 2024.
