Clifford announces retirement

In a heartfelt letter addressed to Cline Elementary School parents and guardians, Principal Barry Clifford announced his decision to retire at the end of the current school year. The news comes after 11 years of dedicated service as Principal and seven years as Assistant Principal, marking the end of an era for the school community.

Reflecting on his tenure, Clifford expressed gratitude for the rewarding experience of working alongside dedicated educators, supportive parents, an exceptional PTO, and, most importantly, wonderful students. He highlighted the growth and development he witnessed in countless young minds, emphasizing his pride in shaping their educational journey.

“While I will miss the daily interactions with students, parents, and staff members,” Clifford wrote, “I am excited about the prospect of spending time with my own family, traveling, and pursuing personal interests and passions.”
