Historical Museum Cowboy way of life May 4

Date:

Celebrate the Cowboy way of life with the Brazoria County Historical Museum on Saturday, May 4th, from 10 am to 2 pm. Enjoy hands-on demonstrations, crafts, and much more!

Kids will discover the skill of cattle roping, learn the importance and how-to of branding, and visit with blacksmiths. While you’re at it, you can sample some Dutch oven cooking like the cowboys would have enjoyed along the trail.

Don’t forget to visit our fur traders and deputy, who displays antique guns from that era. You don’t want to miss this step back in time and the chance to become a cowboy for a day.

The event will be held at the Brazoria County Historical Museum located at 100 East Cedar in Angleton. Admission is free and open to the public.

For more information about this program or others, follow the Brazoria County Historical Museum on Facebook or call 979-864-1208.
