NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF
THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION AND THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PEARLAND, TEXAS

Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Pearland, in Brazoria, Harris and Fort Bend Counties, Texas, will hold a public hearing on Monday, January 6, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., at City Hall, 3519 Liberty Dr., Pearland, Texas 77581; and that the City Council of the City of Pearland will hold a public hearing and first Ordinance adoption consideration on Monday, January 27, 2025, at 6:30 p.m., at City Hall, 3519 Liberty Dr., Pearland, Texas 77581, for the following cases:

Zone Change Application No. ZONE24-19: A request by Will Benson, applicant, on behalf of JM Projects, LLC., owner, for approval of a zone change for 7.573 acres of land from Heavy Industrial (M-2) District to General Commercial (GC) District, to wit:
Legal Description: Being a 7.573 acre (329,887 square feet) tract, out of Lot 15, lying west of State Highway #35, out of the L.W. Murdock Subdivision, Volume 29, Page 175, Brazoria County Deed Records, in the A.C.H. & B. Railroad Survey, Section II, Abstract 507, Brazoria County, Texas, said 7.583 acres being that same tract described in a deed recorded in Volume 1259, Page 139 of the Brazoria County Deed Records.
General Location: Northwest Corner of Main Street and Bailey Road, Pearland, Texas.
