Burglary

Dec. 21 (12:24 p.m.) A vehicle burglary was reported in the 2500 block of Rockeygate Lane. A jacket and cash were taken from the driver’s seat of a lawn maintenance worker’s vehicle. The worker went to Chase Bank at 255 W. Parkwood Avenue at approximately 10:45 a.m., withdrew money from his account, and drove to the work site, arriving at 11:00 a.m. Surveillance video captured images of a black Pontiace Grand Prix with license plates that did not match the vehicle. Several hours later, Houston Police stopped the suspect vehicle and took two men into custody. Friendswood Police are getting warrants on the two suspect and charging them with Burglary of a Vehicle.

Theft

Dec. 19 (6:09 p.m.) A black male who was loitering in front of Nobi Grill, 3650 FM 528, stole a to-go order, from the front area of the business. Prior to the theft, the suspect asked for water and was given a courtesy cup and drink. When the store employee went to the back of the store, the suspect used the opportunity to steal the food.
Dec. 19 (9:46 p.m.) A heavy-set black female wearing a dark shirt and light-colored sweatpants, stole $228 in lottery and scratch off tickets from the Circle K located at 700 W. Parkwood Avenue. The suspect left in a white four-door, possibly a Ford, sedan. The stolen lottery tickets were canceled by the State Lottery Commission.
Dec. 21 (2:12 p.m.) A Friendswood man dropped his wallet while shopping at Kroger located at 3135 FM 528. A man picked up the wallet and turned it over to a Kroger employee, the employee gave the wallet to customer service. When owner received his wallet back, the cash inside the wallet was gone.

Fraud

Dec. 16 (11:51 a.m.) A Friendswood woman reports that a Cash App debit card account was opened using her personal identifying information.
Dec. 20 (12:59 p.m.) A 38-year-old Louisiana man is accused of stealing his ex-girlfriend’s identifying information and opening bank accounts using her information. The suspect had the victim’s information after helping her file social security claims after a Cancer diagnosis.

Assault

Dec. 22 (4:31 p.m.) An assault was reported at the intersection of Grand Ranch Lane and Taylor Sky Lane when occupants of a white Volkswagon SUV shot Nerf guns at pedestrians causing injury to one of the victims. The registered owner of the Volkswagon Tiguan was located in the 1500 block of Richland Hollow Lane. An 18-year-old and 14-year-old suspect were identified.

Trespass

Dec. 18 (6:27 p.m.) A 43-year-old Friendswood man is accused of Violating a Protective Order and Criminal Trespass. According to the victim, the suspect was sending harassing and annoying text messages and emails and has stalked the victim at her place of business, including following her during a lunch break. A warrant is pending.

Criminal Mischief

Dec. 16 (4:23 p.m.) Christmas lights at a residence in the 1600 block of White Wing Circle were cut in three different places. The owner reports that this is the second incident where the lights were cut. At this time, there are no suspects.
Dec. 21 (2:15 p.m.) Friendswood Police are investigating an incident of graffiti at Renwick Park located at 205 Stadium Lane. The graffiti was spray-painted on trash cans, areas in the grass, along a fence, a light pole, a door, a concrete walkway and on the asphalt parking lot. The vandalism occurred sometime between December 20th at 9:30 p.m. and December 21st at 2:00 p.m.

Other Incidents

Dec. 20 (11:13 p.m.) Officers broke up a barn party in the 1300 block of Falling Leaf after receiving information that minors were consuming alcohol and drugs. As officers approached, teens ran from the scene. Only one minor was cited for Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor. Others were stopped leaving the scene, admitted to being at the party, but did not have evidence of alcohol or drug use and were released from the scene. Several on scene stated they ran due to their “nervousness” of police authority.

A male suspect, 22, of Baytown, was charged with Evading Arrest or Detention in a Vehicle.
A male suspect, 35, of Montgomery, was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Criminal Mischief.
A male suspect, 25, of Houston, was charged with No Driver’s License and No Insurance.
A male suspect, 25, of Beasley, was charged with Criminal Mischief by Impairing/Interrupting a Public Service.
A male suspect, 38, of Houston, was charged with Criminal Mischief by Impairing/Interrupting a Public Service.
A male suspect 22, of Houston, was charged with No Driver’s License.
A male suspect, 59, of Houston, was charged with Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon.
A female suspect, 34, of Baytown, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1.
A male suspect, 27, of Friendswood, was charged with Criminal Trespass.
A female suspect, 25, of Pasadena, was charged with No Driver’s License and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
A male suspect, 26, of Reserve, Louisiana, was charged with Failure to Identify Fugitive from Justice. He also had felony Aggravated Assault warrants in Harris County.
A female suspect, 42, of Victoria, was charged with Public Intoxication.
A female suspect, 37, of Houston, was charged with Assault.
A male suspect, 22, of Houston, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
A male suspect, 44, of Friendswood, was charged with Public Intoxication.
A male suspect, 27, of Rosharon, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
