Five FHS Choir students selected for All-State Choir

Date:

On Saturday, January 11, five talented singers from the Friendswood High School Choir program earned spots in the prestigious Texas All-State Choir during the Area Audition at Deer Park High School. After months of preparation and advancing through three rigorous audition rounds, all five singers were selected—an accomplishment achieved by only 2% of the thousands of singers across Texas who begin the audition process.

The following students were recognized for their outstanding performances:

All-State Mixed Choir

Trinity Bosley – Alto 2 (2nd Chair)

All-State Treble Choir

Hailey Setoudeh – Soprano 2 (2nd Chair)
Haley Smith – Alto 1 (2nd Chair)
Avery Buras – Alto 1 (3rd Chair)

All-State Tenor/Bass Choir

Paige Garcia (1st Chair)

These singers will travel with their directors in February to the Texas Music Educators Association convention, where they will perform as members of the Texas All-State Choir.
