Zane Stevenson Selected for Prestigious Disney Dreamers Academy

Dawson High School is celebrating a remarkable achievement as freshman Zane Stevenson has been selected to participate in the prestigious Disney Dreamers Academy at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Zane is among 100 exceptional high school students from across the nation chosen to embark on a transformative journey of mentorship and inspiration from March 26-30, 2025.

The Disney Dreamers Academy, now in its 18th year, is a renowned educational mentorship program designed to empower and inspire students from diverse backgrounds. Zane, alongside his peers, will have the unique opportunity to connect with business leaders, Disney executives, celebrities, and educators through workshops and seminars to foster their career aspirations.

“We are incredibly proud of Zane for this outstanding accomplishment,” said DHS principal, Erin Hamann. “His selection to the Disney Dreamers Academy reflects his dedication, ambition, and the bright future ahead of him. This is a tremendous opportunity for him to explore his potential and learn from some of the best in various industries.”

Zane’s selection follows a rigorous application process, including essay questions about his personal story and dreams for the future.

Since 2008, Disney Dreamers Academy has inspired over 1,700 students, with many graduates becoming successful professionals and mentors to future participants.
