The Heritage Gardener Spring Market set for April 27-28, 2024, is filling fast with vendors.
The market will be held at 112 W. Spreading Oaks in Friendswood. Under the direction of Committee Chair Paula Oddo, the vendors will feature a wide variety of items, including garden art, jewelry, bird and wildlife supplies, orchids, homemade treats, sandstone coasters by a professional photographer, planters, crocheted items, candles, clothing, silk flower arrangements, antique glass birdfeeders, meal magic from entrée and side dish packets, children’s items, and more.
Interested vendors still have the opportunity to showcase their products at the Spring Market. There are a few booths available. Contact Oddo at paulaoddo@gmail.com to secure your spot.
The Spring Market is not the only event happening at this location. There will also be a huge garden club Plant Sale with a wide variety. To help new plant owners determine how to plant and maintain their new purchases, a table of Galveston County Master Gardeners will be there both days to answer any questions about new plants or problems with plants already owned.
The Annual Spring Garden Tour will occur each day from 1 to 5 p.m. Tickets are available at local businesses and at the garden clubhouse on-site on the tour days. Five gardens will be on the tour and offer a variety of landscaping designs. Club members will be at the gardens to answer questions.
Raffle prizes are also part of the fun. Tickets for the raffles can also be purchased at the clubhouse. Ticket holders can determine which raffle item to put their tickets toward.
