Thursday is the final day for a used tire recycling collection at three Brazoria County locations.
The collections are residential only, with a limit of eight tires per household and no rims. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Locations are Precinct 2 – Central Service Center, 21017 County Road 171, Angleton; Precinct 3 North Service Center, 2467 FM 528, Alvin; and Precinct 4 West Service Center, 1211 County Road 468 in West Columbia.
The event is possible through the county’s partnership with the Houston-Galveston Area Council and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
