Pearland ISD has appointed Dr. Charles Allen as the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction. In addition, Dr. Sundie Dahlkamp has been named the Assistant Superintendent of Talent and Engagement.
Allen served Pearland ISD for the past 19 years, most recently as the Curriculum and Instruction executive director. Prior to this role, he served as the principal of Pearland Junior High East for seven years.
Dahlkamp, a graduate of Pearland High, has spent her 24-year career in education at PISD, beginning as a communication applications teacher for seven years. She was an HR specialist before becoming executive director of Human Resource Services and Communications.
