Burglary
May 7 (8:30 a.m.) A Friendswood man believes that his prescription medication and driver’s license were stolen out of his vehicle in the HEB parking lot. The vehicle was left unlocked
Theft
May 5 (1:49 p.m.) A Ninja slushy machine and cosmetics were stolen from HEB. Two females entered the store at the same time, they split up, placed the stolen items into an electric shopping basket, and left the store without paying for anything. Suspect #1 is a black female who was wearing a grey shirt and blue jeans. Suspect #2 was a black female wearing a grey shirt and pink pants. They both got into a black Dodge Hornet with Colorado license plates DTMJ48.
May 6 (2:30 p.m.) A resident in the 2600 block of N. Mission Circle received a large delivery to her front porch. When she retrieved the boxes, one of them was already open and there were three Apple watch packages inside. The watches were removed but the watch straps remained.
May 9 (9:42 a.m.) A Canadian man reported a theft; the suspect in the theft lives in Friendswood. The victim contacted the suspect online in May 2023, to build a guitar body and neck. He paid in full; however, the suspect never delivered the guitar, closed his business, and did not provide any forwarding information.
May 11 (11:09 a.m.) A 65-year-old Humble man is accused of shoplifting at the Kroger store located at 151 N. Friendswood Drive. An employee recognized the suspect because he was recently caught stealing at the same store. The employee witnessed the suspect shove packages of frozen crab legs down his pants and then walk out of the store. The employee followed the suspect and provided police with the license plate of the getaway vehicle.
Fraud
May 9 (12:25 p.m.) A Friendswood man reported that someone is using his personalized license plate. He has been receiving toll violation photos of a Land Rover Range Rover with his license plate affixed. Then, the same plates received toll violation but were affixed to a Mercedes G Wagon. So far, the victim has paid more than $1,000 in tolls that do not belong to him.
Criminal Mischief
May 8 (10:47 a.m.) A vehicle was vandalized at the Bellevue Apartments located at 17231 Blackhawk Blvd. The vehicle was keyed and had scratch marks on the back right passenger door.
May 9 (1:50 p.m.) A vehicle parked on the roadway in the 16200 block of Barcelona Drive was vandalized. The front left window was shattered. The incident occurred between 6:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Nothing was reported stolen.
Assault
May 10 (8:22 p.m.) A physical fight was reported at the Centennial Park basketball court, 2200 S. Friendswood Drive. When police arrived, two males had minor injuries. According to a participant in the fight, the confrontation was over a girl. A witness confirmed that the incident was mutual combat, and a primary aggressor could not be determined.
Driving While Intoxicated
May 6 (2:42 a.m.) A 32-year-old Alvin man struck a fence and an electrical pole that led to a tree fire in the 600 block of Heather Lane. Power was out in the area for several hours. The driver was transported by ambulance to a local hospital following the accident. An investigation is being conducted to determine whether alcohol played a role in the crash.
Found Property
May 8 (11:56 a.m.) Contents of a purse stolen in Alvin in September were found in a field off Mandale and W. Parkwood Avenue. The owner of the contents of the purse arrived to pick them up but advised that the purse itself did not belong to her.

A female suspect, 33, of Friendswood, was charged with Public Intoxication.
A female suspect, 30, of Pearland, was charged with two counts of Endangering a Child.
A male suspect, 20, of Houston, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No Driver’s License, No Front License Plate, and Disregarding Official Traffic Control Device.
A female suspect, 20, of Houston, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
A female suspect, 20, of Friendswood, was charged with No Driver’s License and Expired Registration.
A male suspect, 25, of Houston, was charged with No Commercial Driver’s License and No Medical Card.
A male suspect, 21, of Houston, was charged with Displaying a Fictitious License Plate.
A female suspect, 48, of Friendswood, was charged with Expired Driver’s License and Defective Stop Lamps.
A female suspect, 33, of Webster, was arrested for a felony warrant in Lee County.
A female suspect, 41, of Alvin, was charged with Public Intoxication.
A male suspect, 28, of Bacliff, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
A male suspect, 37, of Bacliff, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
A male suspect, 36, of La Porte, was charged with No Driver’s License, Expired Registration, Defective Stop Lamps, and Fail to Signal Lane Change.
