Manvel cancels Municipal Court

Date:

By Karolyn Gephart

Jury trials and jury duty have been canceled for March 26 due to the city’s concern with public health safety.

The City of Manvel Municipal Court will continue to take full payment of fines at its online portal www.municipalonlinepayments.com/manveltx.

Officials ask that residents be  aware that making an online payment will result in a Class C Misdemeanor on a criminal and/or driving record.

The municipal court staff are available to answer questions about court resets or about options to keep a charge from resulting in a conviction. Call 281-489-1229 during regular City Hall business hours, Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or Friday 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Follow the City of Manvel FB page to keep informed about the impact that the coronavirus has created in the community.
