PRIMARY BANK DEPOSITORY SERVICES
 
The City of Friendswood, Texas is soliciting sealed applications from eligible and qualified financial institutions with a physical location within the City’s municipal boundaries to provide Primary Depository Bank Services.  Sealed applications will be accepted before 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at City of Friendswood City Hall, Attention: Melinda Welsh, City Secretary, 910 S. Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas 77546 with applications to be opened at 2:00 P.M. on this date at this location.
 
The City of Friendswood reserves the right to reject any and all RFA’s and to waive any informality in RFA’s received.  The City of Friendswood pays for goods and services according to the provisions of Chapter 2251 of the Government Code.
 
All applications shall be accompanied by a cashier’s check in the amount of five-thousand dollars ($5,000.00) payable to the City of Friendswood, Texas and will be returned to each unsuccessful applicant immediately following contract award and to the successful applicant upon final acceptance and execution of the contract and implementation of services. 
 
The RFA may be downloaded from the City’s website at https://www.ci.friendswood.tx.us/bids.  Questions regarding the RFA should be directed in writing via email to Rhonda Bloskas, Deputy Director of Administrative Services – Finance, at rbloskas@friendswood.com.  The award of the Depository Bank Services contract is scheduled for consideration by the City Council of Friendswood, at its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, August 3, 2020, at the City of Friendswood City Hall, Council Chambers, 910 S. Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas 77546.

REPOST – INVITATION TO BID
Forgotten Angels Foundation
Vocational Horticulture Barn/Building

Due to the current COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Pandemic, the previous Invitation to Bid publicized on March 11, 2020 is being reposted. Forgotten Angels Foundation in Pearland, Texas is seeking a qualified, proven-effective, construction contractor to complete the construction/installation of a 4,000 square foot, pre-engineered, metal agricultural-style building on an applicably-sized concrete pad, with build-out, a fire lane, mechanical-electrical-plumbing, fire sprinkler system, domestic water, sanitary sewer, site electrical, and associated drainage. The resulting structure shall be located at 3301 Industrial Dr., Pearland, Texas, and is being funded in part with a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), via the City of Pearland’s Community Development Block Grant program.

All interested bidders should send a Notice of Intent to Bid to Lindsey Weatherford at lweatherford@forgottenangels.org by May 6, 2020. Plans and instructions with all specifications to bidders will be provided once a Notice of Intent has been received.

Both submissions must be received no later than 2:00 P.M. Central Standard Time on May 20, 2020 and will remain sealed until publicly opened before any and all interested parties at that time. Due to COVID-19, bidders choosing to hand deliver bids should be cautious to provide proper social distancing, avoid direct contact, use masks and gloves when submitting, and remain outside the Forgotten Angels Foundation offices when doing so.

In addition, Foundation staff may utilize an electronic, webcast opening to prevent spread of the Coronavirus, and bidders will receive further instructions if applicable.

All bidders and their respective subcontractors must qualify and follow federal and State regulations set forth in 2 CFR Part 200, the Davis Bacon Act, and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations as stated in 24 CFR part 570, as well as Section III of the HUD Act. No debarred or suspended entities may participate as a prime contractor or subcontractor on any tier on this project. The successful bidder will be selected on a competitively scored bid, based on the determination of the best value for the project.
