Heritage Gardeners members have begun preparing their Briscoe Gardens for the 2022 Spring Garden Tour to be held April 23-24, 2022 in Friendswood. Six outstanding gardens will be on the tour.
Briscoe Gardens is located at the gardening clubhouse at 112 W. Spreading Oaks in Friendswood. The garden club maintains the space and has heritage rose beds, bromeliad areas, fern beds, hibiscus areas, a Junior Master Gardener area with a pond, and much more. The space will be on the tour with HG members as tour guides.
Along with the home and clubhouse garden tours will be a huge Spring Market to shop Saturday April 23 having 50-plus vendors. On Sunday, April 24 a new Garden Market will be held at the site.
A speaker on Native Plants will be present April 23 and raffle items will also be on sale there as well as tickets for the garden tours. Tours will be located in Friendswood and are spaced throughout the town as far as Viejo Drive to Myrtlewood and many places in between.
Tickets are on sale beginning next week at businesses in Friendswood.
