Marcus Rives: Continuity, Connectivity, Creativity

Date:

Galveston County is fortunate Marcus Rives is running for the Drainage District Board of Trustees again! His leadership has been evident throughout his time on (GCCDD. There are three words that describe his dedication to the position: Continuity, Connectivity and Creativity.

Continuity in terms of continuing the work already in progress with the drainage district. His background in architecture facilitates his decision making. Having lived in Friendswood as a young person and returning to raise his family shows his desire to grow the area in the best way possible.

Marcus is highly aware of the connectivity needed to make ideas move forward to completion. He has served on numerous committees and boards which work together to meet goals. The connection of various groups is significant for success.

Creativity comes into action in regards to his ability to look at problems and concerns in a new way. He does that in his architectural firm and all pursuits. He has the ability to create vision where none seems to exist.

Marcus’s credentials speak for themselves. Please go to his website and read his biography. He has been and will continue to be an asset to GCCDD. It is my pleasure to recommend Marcus Rives for another term on GCCDD.
