Fish Camp returns to Lake Friendswood

Friendswood Fish Camp is back due to the continued success of the youth program. Friendswood Fish Camp is for young anglers between the ages of 6-16 years.

Returning to Lake Friendswood Park, the camp will run June 20-24.

The classes will teach kids casting, hook safety, rod assembly, fishing identification, fishing etiquette, and how to catch a fish.

The June session offers five classes with each class running from 8:30 to 10:30 am at Lake Friendswood Park.

Class fee is $10 for residents and $15 for non-residents.

All class materials and equipment will be provided for registered participants. According to the Parks Department, there will be no additional materials or equipment for unregistered kids, siblings, friends or companions. All participants must have a parent/legal guardian present throughout the entirety of the class.
