The Friendswood Senior Citizen Program is hosting its Christmas in September Arts and Crafts Market at the Friendswood Activity Building Friday September 16 from 9 am to 5 and Saturday, September 17 from 9 am to 4 pm.
Booths will offer a variety of items to begin the holiday shopping season.
Candles, festive creative wreaths, yard art, and fashion creations for adults and children will all be offered. Wood artists and fabric artists will also be having booths.
The market is a fundraiser for the Senior Citizen Program and each year it has become a welcome fall tradition.
New this year will be the addition of a food truck on Saturday. Influenced by Houston’s multi-cultural demographics. Foreign Policy offers gourmet fusion burgers, fries and pitas. The unique menu was inspired by Korean, Greek, Mexican, and American cuisine.
Shopping is free and the community is invited to the Christmas in September event.
The Activity Building is located at 416 Morningside Drive in Friendswood.
