Legacy Fund Established for FHS Teacher

Date:

The Friendswood community suffered a tremendous loss on Monday with the passing FHS English teacher Kevin Reed. Mr. Reed leaves behind a legacy of service, curiosity, and adventure. He had a passion for education, which is why the most appropriate way to honor his memory is to support what he loved by enabling his daughters and other students achieve a college education.

The Kevin Reed Legacy Fund will be used to provide scholarships for students of Friendswood High School who are pursuing higher education as well as supporting Etta and Louise Reed’s college education.

Donations may be made in person at Hometown Bank through a teller or in the night deposit drop box, at the Friendswood Drive or 528 branch. Please note ‘Kevin Reed Legacy Fund’ in the memo line of the check. Please note if you would like the gift to remain anonymous.

You may also contribute using Venmo at https://account.venmo.com/u/KevinReedLegacyFund
