In honor of National Principals Month in October, Pearland Independent School District salutes the 23 administrators who guide its schools with a focus on students first.
The district joins community members in thanking these school leaders for their efforts to ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment for more than 21,000 students.
Principals oversee all areas of campus life — from staffing decisions and evaluations to team-building, curriculum evaluation, budget, and facility maintenance.
They set the academic tone for the campus, working with teachers to maintain high instructional standards and inspiring students to overcome challenges to reach their goals.
“I am extremely proud of our principals here in Pearland ISD,” Superintendent Larry Berger said. “These are servant leaders who, day in and day out, show up to support our students’ and staff’s success, inside and outside the classroom. Our principals are dedicated to building a positive campus culture, building relationships with families, and having a strong presence in our community. They help us Build Pearland Proud, and I am inspired every day by their leadership.”
