At 7:30 p.m. this Saturday, Alvin Community College Theatre will open “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play,” based on the classic Jimmy Stewart movie and adapted by Joe Landry.

Much like the film, the play centers around the character of George Bailey on a fateful Christmas Eve, depicting what his community would have been like without him.
Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Saturday; 2:30 p.m. this Sunday, Dec. 3; 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 7; 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 8; and 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 9.

All shows are performed on the ACC campus, 3110 Mustang Road in Alvin. Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. For more information on ACC theatre productions, call 281-756-3606 or email boxoffice@alvincollege.edu.
