The museum offers tastes of the past

Brazoria County Historical Museum is offering a program, “Homemade: Tastes of the Past,” on Thursday, January 25, featuring a presentation and samples of local dishes.

During the 6 p.m. program, Library and Archival Manager Blue Schuler will discuss historic recipes found in cookbooks from the museum’s collection and local recipes from decades past.

Attendees will enjoy samples of historic dishes such as Blackberry Jam Bake. The museum is located at 100 East Cedar in Angleton.
