Highway 6 public hearing is Tuesday

Texas Department of Transportation hosts an in-person public hearing on Tuesday, February 13, regarding the portion of Highway 6 from east of Highway 35 to the Galveston County Line in Brazoria County, identifying ways to reduce crashes, improve mobility, and support development.

The meeting is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, at the Alvin Community College Nolan Ryan Center, 2925 Bypass 35 South in Alvin.

A virtual public meeting will also be available beginning February 12 at 5 p.m. Afterward, the presentation will remain up for viewing through the end of the input period on February 28.

Those without internet access may call 713-802-5199 between 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays for information. Public comments can be submitted in any language by mail to TxDOT Houston District Office Attn: advanced project development director, P.O. Box 1386 Houston, TX 77251-1386.
