Project Apollo opens at museum

The Brazoria County Historical Museum, from February 14 through April 2, will host an exhibit on Project Apollo, focusing on the U.S. human spaceflight program.

Kicking off the exhibit on February 17 is a “Rockets and Robots” event at 10 a.m. for children of all ages.

The interactive presentation includes space food and astronaut equipment, a robotics demonstration, and a create-you-own rocket activity.

The program is free and open to the public at the museum, 100 East Cedar in Angleton. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For information on the exhibit or the event, call 979-864-1208.
