Learn about Pollinator Gardens

Date:

By Karolyn Gephart

Pollinator Gardens will be discussed at Friendswood’s next Heritage Gardener meeting on March 7, 2024. Galveston County Master Gardener and Master Naturalist Chris Anastas will be the speaker.

The meeting is open to anyone interested in gardening and will begin at 9:30 am with a Meet and Greet followed by Anastas speaking at 10 am. Heritage Gardeners are preparing for their large annual Spring Home Garden Tour along with a huge Plant Sale, Spring Market of vendors, and presentations of gardening topics by Master Gardeners.

It will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 27-28, 2024.

A table with Galveston County Master Gardeners will be set up for both days to answer any gardening-related questions.

Tickets for the tours of private gardens will go on sale in March at local businesse and will also be available on both days at the garden clubhouse at 112 W. Spreading Oaks.

Spaces are still available for interested two and one-day vendors.

The clubhouse is located at 112 W. Spreading Oaks in Friendswood.
