Capital projects topic of meeting

The City of Pearland will hold a workshop on Monday, June 24, to discuss capital improvements — one-time expenses planned by the city.

“That will look at where are we on the projects that are ongoing and what projects are we going to budget for and start in (fiscal year) 2025,” City Manager Trent Epperson said.
The discussion-only session will be at 4 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall, 3519 Liberty Drive, and will include time for public comment.

The city’s upcoming annual budget is in the works and will be approved before a new fiscal year begins on Oct. 1. Budget workshops are scheduled for August when a draft budget will be available.

The workshop will be discussion only, with no council vote. Afterward, the council will meet in regular session at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 3519 Liberty Drive. A period for public comment is provided. Full agendas are available 72 hours before each meeting at pearlandtx.gov.
