The community is gearing up for the 13th annual Pearland Expo on September 4-6 and 12 at the Richard L. Wagoner Agricultural Facility (4715 Bailey Road). Pearland ISD students will exhibit livestock, showcase career talents, and win scholarships and awards in art and culinary contests and lamb, goat, swine, and cattle shows.
Additionally, the fifth Pearland Partners Livestock Show will be held on September 4. The show creates an opportunity for students to be paired with and mentored by Pearland ISD Future Farmers of America (FFA) students, allowing them to learn how to care, groom, manage, and feed animals, culminating in a show where students exhibit animals in front of judges, peers, teachers, administrators, and the Pearland community.
