Dr Rebecca Hillenburg is the clear choice for Friendswood Independent School District (FISD) Board Position 3.
The Friendswood Independent School District Board of Trustees election is important because it impacts our children, and it impacts Friendswood. Our excellent schools are an economic driver for this community. Many new families move here every year for our highly-rated schools—it’s why we moved our family here 26 years ago. The people we entrust to serve on our school board are critical to us keeping the wonderful reputations that our schools enjoy.
Rebecca Hillenburg has been a dedicated parent, educator and volunteer in our community for more than 32 years. We have known her well for over 20 years. She is the consummate educator-turned-community leader. Even before volunteering her leadership skills as President of the FISD Board and Chairman of Friendswood’s Economic Development board, Rebecca served as the Principal of Friendswood Junior High School. Her critical decision-making, outstanding guidance and genuine caring for the students is truly appreciated—it makes us proud to live in Friendswood!
