Pearland Beats Alvin 59-0

Pearland junior QB Jake Westmoreland scrambles for a touchdown vs Alvin in a lopsided 59-0 win by Pearland on homecoming night last Friday.  Westmoreland rushed the ball 5 times for 52 yards and 2 touchdowns and completed 8 of 11 passes for 143 yards and 1 touchdown.  The Oiler offense was a well-oiled machine vs the Yellowjackets, with only one drive ending in a punt.  Up next, the Oilers will travel to face Manvel at Freedom Field on Friday, September 27th, at 7 pm and be back home on Friday, October 4th, to take on Dawson in the 11th annual Pearbowl.
