A variety of cuisines and eateries will be in the spotlight during the upcoming Oct. 29 Taste of Pearland, followed by Pearland Restaurant Weeks scheduled for Nov. 1-30.
Hosted by the Pearland Chamber, Taste of Pearland is designed to introduce guests to local offerings they might not otherwise try.
More than 30 area restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries will bring signature products to the table during the evening, from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 29 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 2320 Hatfield Road.
Standard tickets, available on eventbrite.com, include food and drink samples and are $15. VIP tickets are $30 and include a special early entry from 4 to 5 p.m.
More information is available at pearlandchamber.org/taste-of-pearland/ or by calling 281-485-3634.
Scheduled from Nov. 1 to Nov. 30, Pearland Restaurant Weeks serves double duty to promote local businesses and raise funds for the Pearland Neighborhood Center.
During Restaurant Weeks, participating locations offer pre-determined breakfast, lunch, or dinner menu items at one fixed price.
The two-course bundles for breakfast and lunch are $20, with $2 for every meal purchased at the Neighborhood Center. Dinner packages are three-course meals for $35, with $4 going to the Neighborhood Center. More than 30 restaurants will offer everything from Asian-Cajun fusion to classic Italian.
More information and a list of participating locations and menus will be available this month at VisitPearland.com/RestaurantWeeks.
