Local Ice Cream Shop Painted Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Date:

CertaPro Painters of Pearland & Friendswood is participating in the “Paint it Pink” campaign to raise funds for breast cancer research. The initiative, which runs from October 1 to November 30, 2024, partners with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) and Breast Cancer Canada.

Throughout October and November, CertaPro Painters of Pearland & Friendswood will donate a percentage of every painting project to the campaign. The company aims to contribute to CertaPro’s nationwide goal of raising $160,000. These funds will support approximately 3,200 hours of critical research or provide assistance to 64 patients participating in a BCRF-supported clinical trial. Since its inception in 2019, the Paint it Pink campaign has raised $555,000, funding around 11,000 hours of research.

As part of its commitment to the cause, CertaPro Painters of Pearland & Friendswood has painted the Friendswood Scoop Shop pink. This effort seeks to raise awareness and support for breast cancer research while uniting the local community.

“CertaPro Painters of Pearland & Friendswood is honored to join the fight against breast cancer by supporting research that brings us closer to a cure,” said Mark Cooper, owner of CertaPro Painters of Pearland & Friendswood. “Each year, the company strives to paint a building pink to increase support for this important cause.”

Community members can support the Paint it Pink campaign by donating to breast cancer research. For more information on how to get involved, visit the CertaPro Painters of Pearland & Friendswood Paint it Pink page at https://certapro.com/paint-it-pink/.
