The beautifully decorated home of Stacy and Jake Heck will be featured on the Annual Christmas Tour of Homes this year, November 23 and 24. Hosted by Heritage Gardeners, the tour will run both days from 1 to 5 pm.

Tourgoers will be amazed at how many nutcrackers the couple will have on display. The sizes vary from small to several very large ones. The collection is a favorite of Stacy Heck, and the numbers grow each year as she finds new ones to add to her collection.

The couple live in Sunmeadow subdivision, and their theme for the event is The Sugar Plum Forest. Holiday trees will offer themes of elves, candy, reindeer, patriotism, ornaments made by children, Alice in Wonderland, and more. A revolving tree will delight viewers.

The home is over 3100 sq. ft. and is filled with the splendor of Christmas. The Hecks purchased the house six years ago when they married. Each has two children, and the four are ages 21 and 20, and two are 17.

Everyone who knows the couple will immediately admit that this couple knows how to put the wow factor into holiday decorations.

Tour tickets are available at Friendswood Chamber of Commerce, Friendswood Frame and Gallery, Silver Bee Boutique, Lary’s Designs, Marrone Market, Phoenix Cleaners, Two Friends Gifts, Wild Birds Unlimited of Pearland, Wild Birds Unlimited of Clear Lake, Friendswood Scoop Shop and Blue Goose Plant & House.

The Saturday/ Sunday tour of homes is always held on the weekend before Thanksgiving. Heritage Gardeners was organized in 1966, and the tours began that year. They have been held consistently every year since.

Along with the tours will be a holiday market of vendors offering holiday gifts for friends and family of all ages, Santa’s Bakery Shop, items that can be purchased to serve immediately or saved for Thanksgiving, and exciting raffle items. The market and bakery will be open daily from 9 am to 4 pm. The location will be 112 W. Spreading Oaks in Friendswood.
