Burglary

Dec. 9 (8:23 a.m.) An unknow person entered the unlocked detached garage of a home in the 800 block of Piney Ridge Drive. Home surveillance video showed a blueish green Fiat 500 hatchback arriving at the home at approximately 6:49 p.m. The front license plate was covered. The driver was a white female, wearing glasses, a green beanie, a camo-style jacket and black sweatpants. Nothing appears to be missing from the garage.

Criminal Mischief

Dec. 14 (1:31 p.m.) A resident in the 1300 block of Falling Leaf Drive found his fence damaged, tire marks in the grass, and a license plate in the grass next to the damaged fence. The officer located the registered owner of the vehicle belonging to the license plate, went to the address, and observed the vehicle in the driveway with damage to the front bumper. The driver was identified and issued a citation for Reckless Damage.

Theft

Dec. 13 (6:45 p.m.) A Theft warrant is pending for the arrest of a 60-year-old Pasadena man. The man stolen meat and olive oil from HEB and left the parking lot in a white Lexus.
Dec. 13 (10:01 p.m.) A resident in the 500 block of Belmont Drive ordered several packages that were misdelivered to a neighbor’s address by FedEx. When the owner of the packages went next door to ask about retrieving her packages, she discovered that one of the residents in the neighbor’s home took the packages inside, opened, them and discarded the boxes. Another neighbor provided surveillance video of the packages being delivered and subsequently taken into the garage of the neighbor’s home.
Dec. 15 (3:57 p.m.) A white 2000 Ford truck, belonging to The Harbor Church, was stolen from the church property. The truck license plate is CTF4048. The theft occurred on Thursday evening, December 12th.

Fraud

Dec. 9 (8:04 a.m.) A Friendswood man received notification from the IRS about his social security number being used at three different businesses for employment purposes. Since there was reported income from all three businesses, the IRS was seeing payment of income tax. The victim has never worked at any of the businesses where his social security number was used.
Dec. 12 (12:43 p.m.) A Friendswood woman reported the fraudulent use of a credit card in August 2024. Not for publication.
Dec. 13 (2:06 p.m.) A Friendswood home-based business reported several fraudulent wire transfers on a company account. The account was compromised through a series of text messages, use of verification codes, and impersonation as a bank employee.

Arrests

A male suspect, 38, of Friendswood, was charged with three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1, Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon by a Felon, Unlawful Possession of Body Armor by a Felon.
A female suspect, 33, of Friendswood, was charged with three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1.
A female suspect, 42, of Friendswood, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
A male suspect, 42, of Kemah, was charged with Driving While License Invalid.
A male suspect, 24, of Richwood, was charged with Driving While License Invalid.
A male suspect, 34, of Houston, was charged with Driving While License Invalid.
A male suspect, 20, of Houston, was charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
A female suspect, 40, of Friendswood, was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member.
A male suspect, 21, of Alvin, was charged with Public Intoxication.
A male suspect, 24, of Bay City, was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
A male suspect, 42, of Houston, was charged with Public Intoxication.
