The city’s Parks and Recreation Department is seeking volunteer “buddies” to join its Miracle League inclusive baseball program for players with disabilities.
Each buddy is paired with a player during games and assists with batting, running the bases, and fielding. Games are February 22, March 1, March 8, March 15, and 22.
Volunteers should be at least 15 years old; adults undergo a background check. Youth volunteers must have a minor release signed by a parent or guardian.
