Plans are well underway for some of Pearland’s most popular spring events in 2025, with dates announced for PISD’s Big Art Day, the annual Indian art and culture festival, and the city’s Spring Fest at Independence Park.
The outdoor events below are family-friendly and have free entry and parking.
Big Art Day
Pearland ISD will hold its annual Big Art Day on Saturday, March 29, at the outdoor pavilion at Pearland Town Center, 11200 Broadway St.
The annual festival celebrates Youth Art Month with live chalk art by Pearland ISD students, student performances, and artwork displays, plus a DJ, make-and-take art stations for children, door prizes, face painting, and food trucks.

Spring Fest
Hosted by Parks and Recreation, the annual Spring Fest outdoor celebration for families will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 5 at Independence Park, 3449 Pearland Parkway.
As in the past, shuttles will be provided from the parking area of Pearland High School, 3775 S. Main St., and entry is free into the festival, with live entertainment, H-E-B Imagination Station, food booths, and a craft market.
Visitors should note that wristband purchases are needed for many of the rides and attractions.
The city’s Parks and Recreation Department plans to open its Concert in the Park series on May 2 at Southdown Park.
Puranava Festival
The annual Puranava Indian Art and Culture Festival for 2025 will be held on Saturday, April 19, at the Pearland Town Center.
The annual festival includes live entertainment and authentic foods, plus competitions in art, chess, quiz, Indian Classical Dance, and Rangoli. Hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. at the Town Center, 11200 Broadway St.
