Holiday Market, Plant Sale to be in Friendswood Oct. 23-24

            A shopping opportunity is coming in-person in Friendswood when Heritage Gardeners will host its 2020 Holiday Market and Plant Sale Friday October 23 and Saturday October 24 from 9 am to 4 pm each day. The location is the Heritage Gardener clubhouse at 112 W. Spreading Oaks as well as adjacent properties.

            More than 40 holiday booths will offer artists, artisans and craft items that will fill the gift needs for all ages as well as delight each shopper. Items include handmade silk scarves, hand-painted wine boxes, handmade soaps and lotions, leather goods including purses and travel pouches, tailored jackets and winter wraps, nature photography, wood creations, holiday wreaths, swags and centerpieces, woolen creations, vintage jewelry, gemstone creations, yard signs, windchimes, watercolors, painting kits and so much more. Cookies and mixes for chilis, dips, and dinners will also be offered.

            Many vendors from events that are cancelled such as Velvet Stocking  and area bazaars will be part of this Holiday Market.

Masks as well as social distancing are required at this time. Booths will be spread apart for safety concerns.

The plant sale will be held in the Briscoe Gardens behind the clubhouse. A huge variety of plants as well as yard art, decorative containers and more will be offered at great prices.
