The Pearland ISD school board promoted Pearland High’s assistant principal Audie Johnson to principal of Pearland Junior High East.
The 30-year educator holds a master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. He will step into the role of Dr. Charles Allen, who was named Pearland ISD executive director of Curriculum and Instruction.
The board also named Dr. Joseph Cahill, formerly of Fort Bend ISD, as Pearland ISD’s director of advanced academics.
