The Heritage Gardeners Annual Christmas Home Tour and events will open the holiday season in the area with beautifully decorated homes, a vendor Holiday Market, Santa’s Bakery, and more on November 18 and 19, 2023, in Friendswood.

The first home will be on Victoria Way in The Park subdivision off FM 528 and will feature the theme: Fam and Glam Christmas Story. It is the home of Denise O’Brian and his family.

The favorite Christmas color is “sparkle,” and the Grinch and Whoville will feature in some room décor. Special ornaments and a special doll collection are adding to the Christmas treasures on view at the tour. O’Brian has a daughter, stylist Niki Lassiter of Creations by Niki Lassiter, and a son, Daniel, with wife Brigette of Friendswood. The three, along with Let’s Gete Lit, Events by Lindsay, Noel Narvaez, and Lorrie Foreman, have helped O’Brian get ready for the tour.

“My hope is that all that enter my home will receive the gift of hospitality,” O’Brian said.
Tours are from 1 to 5 pm each day. Tickets are on sale now at various businesses in Friendswood and at the garden clubhouse at 112 W. Spreading Oaks.

Holiday Market is open from 9 am to 5 pm daily and free for all shoppers to attend. The garden club will also offer its Treasure Chest Boutique for shoppers.

The theme for the whole event this year is Dressed in Holiday Style, and plans are underway for those attending to be able to get all of their holiday shopping completed while enjoying great food and fun for all ages. Raffles are bigger and better than ever, and the holiday treats at the bakery will provide ample culinary delights for serving now and later.

A huge variety of items will be sold by vendors at the Holiday Market. Vendor spaces are still available for a day market on Saturday, November 18. Contact Paula Oddo at paulaoddo@gmail.com if interested.

Follow Heritage Gardeners on Facebook to see vendor products, homes on the tour, and more.
