I want to add my endorsement and encourage your vote for these three fine people – Kevin Holland, Lonnie Moffitt, and Theresa Gustafson for Directors of the Galveston County Consolidated Drainage District.
These people have proven experience ensuring new development meets proper drainage criteria preventing others from flooding. They are experienced in constructing and maintaining infrastructure that improves overall drainage. There are currently at least fourteen major projects amounting to over $125 million either planned, underway or recently completed. For the Dixie Farm Detention Project, these three Directors have been responsible for using District funds to leverage over $30 million from other participants. These projects will capture and retain flood waters, saving many from potential flooding.
Each of these candidates are long-time residents of Friendswood. Each of these candidates are energetic, dedicated, and thoughtful contributors to the Drainage District benefiting all Friendswood citizens. All are willing and able to continue their excellent work for us as directors.
