University of Houston Clear Lake-Pearland will hold a “Reading Around the Bases” community event from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, July 19, at 1200 Pearland Parkway.
Families are encouraged to dress as their favorite book characters for the free event, including special guests, storytime, treats, and free books for kindergarten through fifth-grade children. Sponsors include the University of Houston Clear Lake, Astros Foundation, and UHCL Alumni Association.
