Isabella Carter of Pearland was among the attendees at the June Congaree Global Golf Initiative, an immersive collegiate preparatory curriculum and golf instruction program serving selected students from the U.S. and abroad.
Isabella, an incoming high school senior, was selected from a pool of applicants, joining 19 other aspiring college golfers in Session 1, held in June in South Carolina.
Developed by The Friedkin Group chairman and CEO Dan Friedkin and late Houston Texans owner Bob McNair, Congaree provides coaching and resources in athletics and academics to enhance college opportunities.
