Pearland Oilers take 42-29 victory over Dawson

Dawson senior running back Jerimiah Treadway takes the handoff from quarterback Max Zavala and looks for space between the Pearland defensive line.  Treadway put up another outstanding performance with 16 carries for 160 yards and three touchdowns, including a 69-yard scoring jaunt in the third quarter that kept the Eagles within striking distance before ultimately falling short to the Oilers 42-29.  Dawson will look to get back to winning when they take on South Houston at home on Friday, October 11th, at 7 pm.

Pearland Oilers senior running back Tate Chisholm leaps toward the end zone for a touchdown on Friday night at Pearbowl XI vs the Dawson Eagles.  Chisholm was Pearland’s workhorse with 26 carries for 227 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Oilers to a 42-29 victory over Dawson in front of a crowd over 11,000 strong.  Up next for the Oilers is a road game vs. Dobie on Friday, the 11th, before returning home to face Pasadena Memorial on Friday, October 18th at 7 pm.
