Time capsule deadline is January 31

January 31 is the deadline for local families, organizations, or businesses to contribute an item to a 50-year time capsule project coordinated by Brazoria County.

Photos, recordings, or small artifacts are being accepted for the capsule, which will placed in the Brazoria County Courthouse in Angleton during a spring open house celebrating the completion of a major renovation and expansion.

It will be opened in 2075 during the 250th anniversary of the founding of Brazoria County.
Materials should be brought to the Brazoria County Historical Museum at 100 E. Cedar St. in Angleton. Artifacts should be no more than five cubic inches or the size of a cellphone.
