The 12th annual Circle the Wagons: Cookin’ It Up for a Cure BBQ Competition is set for March 28-March 29 at the Brazoria County Fairgrounds, 901 South Downing St. in Angleton.
The event begins with live music by Jimmy Green at 8 pm on Friday, March 28. Saturday’s cook-off competition includes a Kid’s Burger Challenge, Vegas Nights theme, vendors, entertainment, and more, with proceeds supporting local families affected by childhood cancer. The entry fee is $150 per team.
The event includes a blood drive from 9 am to 3 pm.
