Garden event is April 27-28 in Friendswood

Heritage Gardeners Spring Vendor Market in Friendswood will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 27 and April 28 at 112 W. Spreading Oaks Avenue.

The outdoor event includes gardening presentations, raffles, and a sale with handmade crafts, plants, and outdoor items.

Presentations scheduled for Saturday are “Pollinator Gardening for Backyards” at 9 a.m., “Fruit Trees for Your Yard” at 10 a.m., and “How to Successfully Grow Plumeria” at 11:30 p.m. A garden tour is from 1 to 5 p.m.; tickets are $20 and can be purchased on-site.
