Business park planned near 35, McHard

Date:

Pearland city leaders on Aug. 26 approved the first of two ordinance readings, creating a reinvestment zone to develop a $22.8 million business park near Highway 35 Main Street and McHard Road.

The reinvestment zone is part of a development agreement through which the city can more quickly transfer two small parcels that can’t be developed otherwise, city staff said.
Planned are 200,000 square feet of buildings for manufacturing. A groundbreaking is planned for later in the fall.
