It’s almost time for the Dive-In Movie sponsored by Parks and Recreation in Pearland.
Float and Flick will be June 25 at the Recreation Center and Natatorium. The event will be from 6:15 to 8:30 pm. The Dreamworks’ movie Shark Tale will be shown while viewers float and relax.
It tells the story of a fish named Oscar who falsely claims to have killed Frankie (Imperioli), the son of a shark mob boss named Don Lino, to advance his community standing and teams up with the mobster’s other son Lenny to keep up the other facade. Feedback from viewers of the movie find it is visually stunning, and the story makes the moral point that people cannot live a lie.
Only 50 tickets are available.
The movie will be shown on a big video display board. Inner tube floats will be provided for those attending.
Tickets for residents as well as non-residents are $10.
